Get Into the Holiday Spirit

If you are finding it hard to get into the holiday spirit with all that is happening in the world, I have a idea for you! Recently, my family and I visited Filoli Gardens in Woodside. “Holidays at Filoli” is a perfect event that will brighten your spirits, get you into the fresh, crisp night air, while keeping you safe with the latest COVID restrictions for San Mateo County.

Because we are in the purple tier, at this time, Filoli’s historic house is closed, but the Garden, Holiday Lights, Clock Tower Shop, and Estate Trail remain open with limited capacity and advance reservations. The grounds are beautifully light up and will put a sparkle in your eyes when you see it. They have an area with fire pits (social distanced of course), where you can purchase hot cider and mulled wine. I had never tasted mulled wine before, but now it is my most favorite thing to drink during the holiday season.
